Stars of Tomorrow
Established in 1992 with just eight students, the STARS of Tomorrow Youth Program now serves more than 250 young performers in Grades 1 through High School Graduation. The program develops the dramatic and musical skills needed for success in the performing arts while encouraging scholastic achievement, confidence, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. STARS receive hands-on education in acting, singing, dance, while also highlighting costumes, makeup, lighting, sound, and the many other elements that bring live theatre to the stage. Instruction is provided by experienced production team members with professional training and degrees in theatre, musical theatre, voice, and related disciplines. This combination of classroom-style instruction and practical production experience gives students a well-rounded understanding of both performance and the collaborative work that happens behind the scenes.
STARS is a season-long program that continues through the summer. During the first several months, students focus on training and education across all areas and departments of theatre. Internal auditions for the summer productions are held later in the year, with rehearsals and continued training beginning in January. Students are placed into groups and productions based on age, experience, casting requirements, and the needs of each show. Group assignments and rehearsal schedules may change as productions approach.

The annual program fee is $450 per student, divided into two payments. For families with multiple siblings participating in the program, the annual fee is $400 per student. STARS are expected to attend rehearsals and performances consistently, arrive on time and prepared, learn their assigned material, and contribute as responsible members of the company.
