A Very Merry Mix Up

A festive night of music, laughter, surprises, and Christmas magic!

It’s Christmastime at The Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse… but there’s been a bit of a miscommunication!

When two worlds collide, two artists, along with their friends, families, and a few unexpected guests, must band together to make the holiday show happen.

Featuring Michael Law & Friends and Chief Cherry and His Red Beans & Rice, A Very Merry Mix Up brings together incredible local talent for a one-of-a-kind holiday celebration filled with music, laughter, nostalgia, and plenty of Christmas spirit.

If you’re looking for a place to feel at home for the holidays, we welcome you with open arms to celebrate the season in the warmth and charm of our cozy little Cocoa Village.

Featuring

Michael Law & Friends

For more than a decade, Michael Law has helped make the holidays at Cocoa Village Playhouse a little brighter. His annual Christmas performances have become a beloved CVP tradition, bringing music, laughter, and holiday spirit to our stage year after year.

Michael’s history with the Playhouse extends well beyond Christmas. He has served on staff as a Music Director and generously shared his talents as a volunteer performer in numerous mainstage productions. A familiar face to generations of CVP audiences, Michael represents much of the tradition, talent, and heart that makes the Playhouse feel like home.

Chief Cherry and His Red Beans & Rice

Chief Cherry and His Red Beans & Rice bring the unmistakable sound and style of vintage jazz to this year’s celebration.

Well established throughout Brevard County, the band specializes in the timeless sounds of big band and swing, delivering the kind of music that feels right at home at Christmastime.

While Chief Cherry and his talented crew may be newer members of the CVP family, we’re thrilled to welcome them, along with the many friends and patrons who follow them, into our Playhouse home for this year’s holiday festivities.

Meet the Production Team

This year’s holiday production is brought to life by Kelli Folse and James Spiva, two longtime members of the Cocoa Village Playhouse family whose combined experience as performers, directors, musicians, and creative collaborators helps bring this festive celebration to the stage.
